Subject: Can we get a babysitter

So, I was on a conference call in which our venerable Newburgh City Council Person for Ward 1, Giselle Martinez, was in attendance.

When it came time for her report, it lasted approximately three minutes, and while during the course of that diatribe, she used the word "UM" more than 31 times.

This is a common occurrence for her and you'd be aware of this if you ever had to sit through a city council meeting.

I'm very much for our younger generation getting in engaged in politics but you need to be somewhat intelligent and articulate when engaging with your constituency. The Democratic Party of Orange County and the City of Newburgh, decide to use racial politics to promote a Latina in the vein of AOC to a city office rather than finding a much more qualified candidate.

Stop pandering to the Liberal White Left and promote smart, dedicated, articulate, and passionate individuals regardless of their demo.
