With all this being said, wonder what the transition within the department will be? For the city not to notify the public of what's transpiring in its public safety department, is troubling. The Commissioner doesn't do the day to day. I know there is other leadership in the department, but to lose the top dog so to speak, and no pressure other than the school district announcement of his job procurement is horrible.
