"Immediately"??? A clear chronology would be more interesting reading. Discovered Monday, June 10 but presumably happened over the weekend. City functions were affected at least until June 17 and emails beyond that; banking was disrupted; offices were closed for a few days. Was a ransom ever paid? Were consultants were brought in? What was the final cost to the City? Does self-insurance cover it?
We're relieved the situation was resolved & security upgraded. A few more numbers please, a little less self-adulation.
