THALIA Making you listen RYAN You can’t make me do anything THALIA I think I can Jamie pops her head round and locks the door RYAN When did you two team up? JAMIE It’s not teaming up – you two bore me and if getting it out of your systems is what’s to be done for me to get extra sleep then more power to that. Jamie wonders off upstairs. THALIA Okay – you silent. Me talking. You listening, got it? CUT TO. INT. COLLEGE – DAY Darren is checking the notice board as he spots Jack walking past – he runs out to him DARREN Hey man, what’s up? JACK The clouds DARREN Not literally JACK Then, nothin’ DARREN Okay Mr. Happy pants what did you do with my friend? Jack doesn’t say anything – he just walks off DARREN Dude, what’s wrong? JACK Nothing (beat) I gotta get changed for work INT – CHANGING ROOM – DAY Jack removes his top to reveal bruises up his back and on his arm. CUT TO. EXT. COLLEGE – DAY DARREN Did you see Jack today? JAMIE Saw as in with my eyes yes – Saw as in spoke with? Not so much. DARREN He was all – off JAMIE Off? DARREN Like with me – like, not nice. JAMIE You guys aren’t going to need marriage counselling are you? DARREN I’m serious Jay JAMIE So am I! We’re all entitled to our not-so-happy days. Trust me, I’ll be using that excuse a lot around the 4th. DARREN We’re not close enough for me to know those details JAMIE If I were a werewolf you’d be counting DARREN Jay! JAMIE Sorry. CUT TO. INT. DARRENS ROOM – NIGHT. Darren is towel drying his hair as he sits on the end of his bed. He gives himself the once over in the mirror before climbing under the covers and wrapping them around him. FLASH Darren is sinking in sand as hands pull at him from all directions. Jack comes over to the side of the pit and smiles DARREN HELP! JACK I’ll help. Jack holds hands as a female in a gold gown, with long red hair – grabs him by the hand and leads him through the door of a cave. DARREN JACK!! JACK I’m helping you the best I can. He laughs as the woman grins back at him in game face – a vampire. FLASH Darren springs up in bed, drenched in sweat as his alarm beeps in the background. CUT TO. EXT. GRAVEYARD – DAY. JAMIE Where are we going? Jamie is sprinkling along behind Darren as he dashes through the graveyard at full speed. JAMIE Hello! Darren freezes at the formerly sand filled grave. DARREN No. NO! JAMIE Fine, I’ll go DARREN Not no to that – this grave last night – it was full of sand JAMIE Err… DARREN Seriously! It was here! It was here damn it! Darren throws himself down and begins digging at it with his hands DARREN Where did it go? JAMIE Darren you’re scaring me Darren stops and looks at Jamie – a little lost, a little scared DARREN I had another dream Darren turns around and looks into the distance – he sees that the usually sealed tomb, is no longer sealed. DARREN Come on JAMIE Daz, I’ve got college in ten minutes DARREN Then go – WHATEVER! JAMIE Whatever yourself! Jamie storms off and leaves Darren at the door way to the tomb. Darren pushes the door and edges down the stairs. He reaches the bottom only to see another hole in the ground – a door way.
