My parents were deceased at the time I married at 18, almost 19 and I was young , dumb, naive and very much in love and thought that alone would conquer anything, well you live , learn and grow older and I found out many years later that my extended family did not like my husband and my grandfather , like your father had held his tonuge, well lets just say my story did not end up as happy as yours Joan, we were divorced after 14 years. But I am happily married now, to a wonderful man, older I am and I hope wiser too.
