Lutalo was the first to take notice of the mare, his nares flared as her scent reached him. He shook his dial with a muffled excitment and cantered slowly to her. He bowed his dial to her, she sure was a most beautiful mare. He held his frame high, labelling his dominance over his brother. "Hello ma'am, I am Lutalo...Lu, if you will. Forgive me for this may sound a bit forward but would you have any interest in joing up with my brother and I on our journey to start a herd? And if you wish, you may choose either my brother or I for your mate, making you a lead mare". A lot of information which he normally would apologize for but what was said needed to be said.

Otieno continued his watch over the area. He was anxious to return to the home they'd found and taken over. They could be in another stallions territory, they had no way of knowing if they'd be attacked. They werent from around here. He peered over at the mare occasionally before returning to his guarding.
