You nailed it exactly, the N. Channel trip is a lot of navigating among a bazillion islands. I suspect the challenge will be largely navigational, as all the islands look the same & we'll have to navigate on bearings a lot. I really don't know what to expect from the islands... You know what this trip needs? A good RECON expedition. 4 strong, well prepared paddlers, 2 vehicles, 6-7 days. OR 2-3 expeditioners + 1 zodiac + 5 days.
