Subject: Rations and rounds for LFR

Rations will be issued by battalion and is already covered by the registration fee. No extra assessment.

As for rounds we will need to work on that back here to support the LJ's. Danny is already working on that. I talked to Mike Hendricks and his guys might help as well. Mike said the LJ's and anyone flying in from a long distance need only bring 100 rounds (vice 150).

Gang there is a method at work here that will not be providing much beyond the basics in the way of info for the rank and file - we are trying to keep up the suspense about "what happens next" to make it a special time for all.

Lee's Last Stand, by Derek Smith came today - an outstanding read with lots of info on the 18th Georgia Battalion - that for brevity sakes I am going to start calling the SVG. Grab it from Amazon for only $19.
