Subject: Company and battalion organization

What is the status of the company? As far as the English and American chaps are concerned, are we a company separate from Fred's company or is it still one enterprise? And which company designation are we speaking? For example, Co. K, 15th Texas.

Who is officering and nco'ing the company(ies)?

While I'm at it, what is the organizational composition of the entire 6th/15th Texas? Who's officering the respective companies and which known entities are comprising the companies.

I'm just trying to understand the big picture of the small picture. I'm not concerned about numbers, just the who and the which for the regiment and for the various companies therein.
