Subject: Post WWII History

Before you progress in reading this let me state that this has absolutely nothing to do with the War of Northern Aggression. Probably figured that out by the title. Anyway, I was helping my grandmother dust today and while dusting several porcelain figures I noticed the stamp on the bottom, "Made in occupied Japan." Anyone know anything about importing stuff from post WWII Japan?? I hate to post stuff like this that doesn't deal with our time period but it has peaked my curiosity and since we have the most intelligent people I know (minus Phil) who visit the board I thought I would ask.

To keep the board from filling up with an unnecessary thread please email me with any info you all may have.

Thanks,
Danny
