Pig, Let me put four years being a history major to work. After the end of WW II the americans help to rebuild Japan. They were controlling the industries and such to ensure they didnt rearm. The figurines you have were made by the millions as well as dishes and such.
Now the good news they are worth alot. They are highly collectable and worth a small fortune. The japanese folks love to buy these up as they remind them of their past.
Get them appraised and insured my friend they could pay for at least another pair of Pams socks, heheh.
Also Danny (chewing your butt here) where are the signature squares for Mansfield? Pam cannot finish without em.
