The thirst bug can be wiped out by proper drinking of correct liquids. Start now, eight glasses of water each day. Im gonna get killed for this but avoid alcohol, it will dry up your gizzard quicker than the Quartermasters dried mule meat.
As far as your feet keep em dry, change your socks and dump some talc powder in the insoles, it will help keep your feet dry, and your possum your spooning with might not lose his supper when you take off your brogans.
Finally as far as ankle support lace em up but not too tight. If you take off your shoes during the march your feet are gonna swell up. Leave them shoes on till we rest for the night, then rinse and dry your feet and change your socks or if its warm enough just air them little piggies out all night.
If you have blisters, sores, cuts, sprain, or just plain redness see me or Jason and prehaps we can relieve some discomfort.
