As said above I would have a very difficult time putting an ensemble on stage if they were no ready. But also I agree that If a teacher prepares enough then you will probably ready for the concert by the time you get to the 1 week left period.

I agree with what has been said previously. If this does happen, I think students should not be put through embarrassment, because that could be detrimental to them. You should cut the songs they are not ready for and focus on the songs they are ready for. This way they will do good, but should feel bad that they did all the work for the songs they didn't end up doing.
