V--

Well, okay. As I've already said, it's okay with me if people read what I post as being confessional; I understand that it goes with the territory. I am not, however, the only person posting creative responses to the questions (beatvibe's posts being a prime example of excellent creative work). For myself personally (outside of any other role I have at LitKicks) I'm not interested in writing "This is what I think" expository-type pieces. If other people want to, that's fine. I think the format is open to either type of response.

I'm very aware that the 3:47 a.m. piece only seems marginally related to the question that was posed that day, though I think the character only sees things from an either/or perspective, which, to me, made it fit. I was also certain when I posted it that it would probably be viewed as some kind of non-sequitor essay, and that's fine. I've been using the questions as jumping-off points into creative writing, which is something I haven't done for months, so I'm glad for the little sparks. That's all.

As for this project, I don't think any of us has ever said that we're looking for definitive answers on anything. Just answers. I'm also reasonably certain that we're not trying to do everything in the hopes of getting a cyber-Joyce to give us the final word on literature, politics or existentialism, unless of course I missed that memo.
