OOC: I have my misgivings. But I have decided to run with it. ANY bitching on how I do it however, can be done elsewhere, because frankly, I'm already pissed off as it is, and I have a sneaking suspicion about something I'll confirm later, and I'm rather hoping I'm wrong.
IC: Not even Wyrd could have known that the spell would be vastly weaker than what the caster had intended when used against Johan; indeed, Myuler might only geuss.
This was not due to the fact that Johan was in some way in defiance of the god of magic, or the senses of the Wyrd, but rather, due to the fact that he was wearing the Legacy sword, a magic deflecting, magic leeching sword that had once been lost, and then recovered, years ago when the timeline shifted.
And an active spell that was cast at him was liable to be weak as it was. The sword was then liable to leech off the powers that made the spell function, far slowing its effects.
Johan, for his part, felt a slight tingle and the hair raised on the back of his neck; Even the most subtle of polymorph spells, used against a sentient being, gives a tiny signal, imperceptible to most, however, such spells take months to have an effect, and anything with an intended speed of half a day, used against a creature like a forgotten, which was magical by nature, gave warning, even when that forgotten was one so keenly non-magical as Johan.
Johan turned, and looked back at Myuler, "Myuler, something has just come to my attention, I need you to run some tests... I just had a feeling most remarkably similar to when you turned me into a lion... just not quite... the same."
OOC: Now... anyone wanna bitch? PISS OFF. they did afterall, have to sneak into a heavily guarded city (past overkills you could not have SEEN to sneak past) and get past all of Johan's senses (while being within range to cast a form of polymorph...) etc.
My advice is do NOT do this again.
