I guess my luck for not getting sick ran out. I haven't had a head cold in a long time, let alone a chest cold. But I do now, and of course both are infected. It started Sunday. I'm around the same woman and her son every Sunday. I just found out this passed weekend that she's getting over a head cold and bronchitis and her son is just getting it. I'm usually around her for an hour and a half. I wish I would have known she was sick, I would have been wearing a mask.

That's a big problem for people going through chemo and/or radiation. A lot of people don't even think about the patients immunities being low. I think cancer awareness programs should make that well known.

The doctor first prescribed Biaxin for me. It's an antibiotic. I did okay with the first 3 pills, but then it made me throw up. No more Biaxin. So he changed the antibiotic to Levaquin. So far so good.

Oh yea, I had a CT scan Tuesday. I should get the results this Friday when I go in for my Procrit shot.

Stacy, good luck on your scan. I'll be praying for some good news for you.
