Hi Stacy! How was your weekend? How's your mom doing?

I went to the optometrist over the weekend, looking to get my prescription updated and get new contact lenses. He asked if I've noticed that, when wearing my contacts--I'm nearsighted--it's getting harder to read small type up close. YES, unfortunately I've noticed that. He said that, if I wore glasses regularly, it would be time to consider bifocals. AAAHHHHH!!!!!! He said to get a pair of cheap reading glasses if I felt I needed them. (Not yet.) Today, I went to the Eastern Shore for a friend's birthday. He turned 45 this weekend (he's 4 months older than I am). He had to put on reading glasses to read one of his birthday cards. His brother put on reading glasses to read something. These are MY friends, from MY generation. I FEEL LIKE I'M GETTING OLD!
