Hi Stacy! Just thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing. Seems to me that you've always been one to somehow find the positives in everything you go through. But does chemo seem MORE positive, now that you have evidence that it's working?

I've been working on my mom's place--still. Most of what's left is finish work. I put in her bathroom sink/vanity and medicine cabinet this afternoon. Her furniture has already been moved in, and she's getting boxes out of storage, a few at a time. She'll be moving in very soon.

It is positive from the perspective that the chemo is working. I'm not too crazy about the side effects I've been having. But I'll deal with them as long as the chemo works.

I'm so happy to see the rain!! We really need it!

Sounds like your Mom's place is really coming along. Is she happy with it?

I guess the side effects are not exactly a picnic. But seeing the results must make it easier. I assume that, after seeing the progress, the plan is: keep doing what we're doing!

My mom is getting excited, I think. She hasn't moved in, but she's been spending a lot of time at the place--especially now, with her stuff being moved in.
