Hello Big Brother! Yep, I was able to get my 6TH chemo. That's the first time I've had three in a row. My counts only dropped a little, they are 3.8. Thanks for checking on me!

I forgot to mention, the last three times I've been there... they were able to get blood from my port-a-cath. I haven't had to get a finger stick or a needle in my arm!!! FINALLY!! I sure hope it keeps working.

I asked about flu shots. They said I should get one around the end of October.

Hi Stacy, I too, hope that your port-a-cath stays open. I just returned from taking my friend to chemo, and they could not get blood from the port. So you know the drill I am sure----meds.---waiting---try again---still no blood---waiting again! Finally, after 40 minutes the blood started to flow! I felt so badly for her as she had to cough, put her arms above her head, move her head to the side, and wait 40 minutes before starting the treatment. It added an hour to an already busy day.

How are you feeling? Has your strength returned and appetite also? I hope you are feeling better. Love and prayers, Bonnie
