Wilma's not the problem. It's usually Fred and Barney who mess everything up. Oh wait....you're talking about the hurricane.....

Glad to hear you had your chemo this week. How's the swelling as of today?

My sister and her husband sold their old house and bought a house in Glen Burnie--both settlements were on Monday. The place in GB has an apartment in the basement for my mom. I was there for the first time today--and there's a LOT of work to do. We painted the living room this afternoon. That house may keep ME busy for a while, and I don't even live there!

Glad to hear abouta your family. I hope your Mom will be happy here. Sounds like you always get roped into helping out. How's Patrick these days?

Ever since I've been napping and sleeping at night in my recliner, my swelling is almost gone. OH WHAT A RELIEF that is. I almost look like myself again when I look in the mirror. Now, just get the hair growing faster and I will see me again.

Hey Stacy

Glad to hear you're looking like YOU again. When I was on her the other day, I looked at the picture of your face when it was swollen, then scrolled back up to the picture of you with your family. I guess it would have been hard to recognize you. I'm glad that wouldn't be such a problem now! Are you still sporting the cue ball look, or is the hair starting to come in? I don't recall my dad losing hair with Navelbine, and I don't recall reading that it was a typical side effect.

I really don't mind helping on my sister's house. We have a close family (like yours, only bigger!), and besides, there's work to be done upstairs before all the stuff can be moved out of the basement so we can start on my mom's apartment. MAYBE she'll be in by Christmas, but I'm not sure of that.

Yea, Navelbine is one of the drugs that allows hair to come back in. I lost my hair from the radiation and the Steven's Johnson's Syndrome. It takes longer for the hair to start coming back in when you've had radiation on your brain.

But it is starting to come back in. I still look like a cue ball but with a little fuzz. It's going to have A LOT of gray and it's acting like it's going to be even curlier than the last time.
