Hi Stacy, Great news---sleeping in bed. I bet you did feel more rested---dogs too!!

My friend gets the Aranesp in the IV. Like you she stays away from the veins whenever possible. She was encouraged last week at her visit with the doctor. He wants her to take one more chemo treatment--number 9 in this series--since the tumor marker that was up is now down in the normal range. Then after the last chemo and testing he hopes to put her on the pill Tarceva (not sure of the spelling). She did well on the pill Iressa and the same company makes both. After awhile she stopped Iressa though because it was so pricey. Through her doctor she will be getting the Tarceva free. She too, had trouble waking in the night. Now she takes a Tylenol PM before going to bed, and that has helped. Sometimes she takes two before bed if it has been a bad day.

Gregory and Stephanie are doing well. They are pregnant. It is very early, but they couldn't keep the good news. I think that you knew that they miscarried awhile ago. So needless to say they and all of us are excited. We just pray that all will go well this time. The baby is due in June. I will keep you posted. Casey, our 11 year old granddaughter is so excited--it is fun to watch. No one gets to tell the good news as she beats us to it! She and Ryan are ready for a cousin here. They have some in Pittsburgh, but don't get to see them often. I have a feeling that Casey will move in with Gregory and Stephanie when school is out!!!! She will be a great baby sitter.

Great news too, that you will be able to go with Mark to the races. Have a great time and weekend!!! Love and prayers, Bonnie

That is wonderful news about Greg and Steph. I didn't think he'd ever have kids. I'm so glad they are. I didn't know about the miscarriage. I'm sorry to hear that.

I imagine your friends is so glad that it's almost over other than taking the pills. That sounds optimistic of her doctor! We'll all keep praying.
