I went for my 14th chemo yesterday. This makes 11 in a row!! My numbers still looked good even though the doctor raised my dosage levels.

I met two really nice couples in chemo yesterday. Betty and Carl was one couple. She's fighting lung cancer and doing well. They told me they have a half pug/half boston terrier mix. How could I not make friends with them?!?!

I also met Donna and Paul. She is fighting breast cancer and seems to be doing well also. They go to the church that I was baptized in. Small world.

The week before I met Kevin and his mother. Kevin's mom is fighting cancer but I'm not sure what kind. They were very nice also. Kevin used to be a police officer in Bel Air, the town I grew up in.

If any of you are reading this, know that I am praying for you and I really enjoyed meeting you.

Next week I go Friday for chemo.

Hi Stacy--glad you're keeping up on the chemo. I hope the Navelbine is kicking some cancer butt!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my brother Doug's house in Savage. My mom was there, of course, since that's where she's staying until we have the basement apartment at my sister's house ready for her. My sister, her husband, and 2 of their 3 kids were there. My brother's roommate was there, and I brought a certain guest with me. We had good food, and good beverages--my brother cooked, and I brought the beer. It was our first big holiday since my dad passed away. We talked about him--often humorously. My mom didn't seem too emotional--at least not on the outside.

I hope it's kicking it's butt too! I don't know when I'm going to have another CT scan so I really won't know if it's working til then.

I'm glad your Thanksgiving was so nice. I love having my family around during the holidays.
