I wanted to send out a special THANK YOU to all the people in my personal life that contributed to making my hospital stay as "painless" as possible. Most of the staff and doctors at the hospital were excellent but I want to MAKE SURE my friends AND family (Mom, Dad, Mark, and Aunt Nancy in particular) know how much I appreciate everything they did for me WITHOUT EVEN ASKING!!
I was in the hospital for a total of 14 days. That's a lot of time to spend in a hospital bed, but for a caregiver that's A LOT of time to be taking care of someone else's obligations. Especially someone with pets. My family stepped right up to the plate in each of their own ways. Everyone was absolutely wonderful!! There were frequent visits to the hospital, many "check-up" phone calls, special food requests met, changes of clothes brought to the hospital, dirty clothes taken home AND washed, my babies were taken care of from all angles (that includes walkings, potty trips, visits, general looking after in the AM and PM, feedings, picking up crickets, cage and litter box cleanings for furry animals and reptiles, and whatever else was needed...), mail deliveries, miscellaneous message deliveries, and EVERYTHING ELSE!!
Thank you to my friends that took care of my house and my babies also. I didn't have to worry about anything about not being home for that amont of time.
Everyone just went into auto pilot and took care of everything.
Thank you so much!!!! I love you all and appreciate you all. God sure blessed me with some good people in my life.
