How have you been? How was your holiday weekend, and how about the trip to Ocean City? Found any good car cruises yet?

Not much going on here lately. The way life has been going, that's probably a GOOD thing!

Hi Cliff! My holiday weekend was fine. I was supposed to go to a party with an old boyfriend but he ended up being sick so he cancelled. Instead I hung out with a friend named Bonnie. We basically went flower shopping then ate then watched movies. Sunday my Mom, aunt, and I went to Crownsville to visit an uncle and his wife. It was a nice day. Monday, Bonnie and I hung out again.

Dad and I never went to Ocean City because it was SUPPOSED to rain. We decided at 5:30 the evening before that were weren't going to go because the weather was still calling for rain. Gee whiz, lo and behold, the next day was gorgeous. I ended up driving up to my Dads anyway and spent the day with him at his house.

I personally have not seen any car cruises. Supposedly they are hanging out in Churchville just like last year but I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to get up there. I haven't seen any cars by my house.

I have been INCREDIBLY fatigued the last couple weeks. The doctor increased my dosage by one pill and it's making a huge difference in my fatigue level. It's amazing. It gives me trouble with my feet also. Kinda feels like a bad rug burn on the heels. Aveeno cream helps for a little while.

How is your dad doing on the Navelbine?

My dad is doing pretty well with his Navel Beans. Mom says he's not having any significant side effects so far. Of course, we don't know if it's actually WORKING yet, but we're hoping. So you've been having to rest more than usual? Just let me know when you feel up to it, and we'll find a car cruise somewhere!

I went to a dinner last night for a VP in my department, who is leaving after 33 years due to multiple sclerosis. Jeff is very well liked and very well respected in the company. He was the top guy for loan approvals--the last appeal, so to speak. And his decisions were rarely questioned. We had 50-some people at dinner at Gibby's in Timonium last night, and Jeff got several standing ovations. He's been working despite his MS for several years; up until a couple months ago, he was walking with canes, but now he's in a wheelchair, and he has trouble speaking. Up until a couple months ago, he was usually the first one in each day, often starting at 6:00 a.m. It was quite an emotional evening--a lot of the women were crying. It was $50 per person (to cover dinner and a gift), but I didn't want to miss it.

By the way, when you breed a bulldog with a shi-tzu, you get a BULLSHIT.
