We are still here just trying to get all this messy snow out of the way. How much did you get? We got about 10 inches or so here & lots of blowing snow piles!!! Dana had sooooo much fun throwing all the snow she could on me! How do your babies like this snow? Luke loves it & Snickers my little 12lb Miniature Pinscher has a little trouble so I know where you are coming from with the shoveling out a spot for them Luke is big enough but Snickers gets lost in a couple of inches! LOL!! Take Care & Stay Warm!!

Hi Jenn! We got about 7 inches of snow here then about another quarter inch yesterday afternoon.

This is one of those wonderful things I love about NOT WORKING!! I get to be home in the snow and not worry about having to drive in it. I get to let all the snow just sit on my car. I can clean it WHEN I WANT TO!!

Chessie and Zoie freeze outside even if they have sweaters on. Their poor little footsies hurt them from the cold. Tyler freezes too but he tolerates it a little better than the girls. Tyler is better when it is actually snowing. He watches the snow. Although my neighbor's 80 pound dog LOVES the snow. He rolls in it, bites at it, leaps around, and just has a ball. "Tank" is a lot of fun to watch.

I know what you mean I do enjoy not only being home with Dana everyday but when it snows I love it not having to go out & freeze my butt off!!! Even though I could loose some back there!! LOL!!!
I feel sorry for the doggies when it's cold out I was thinking of getting them booties! I'm sure Luke would chew them off even before he got back in the house! I hope our dogs realize how lucky they are to be in out of the cold when I see dogs being kept outside in weather like this or any weather at that I feel like going and getting them! I guess I have a soft heart when it comes to things like that!
How's your new meds going? Hope all is well with you! Talk to you soon!

I feel the same way you do! I hate seeing animals outside that should be protected from the elements!

I tried booties on my dogs last year and it most definitely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, DID NOT work!! All three of my dogs wouldn't put their feet down right. They kept lifting their feet and attempting to walk but they couldn't. I felt sorry for them so I took them off.

So far so good with the meds. I don't really have too many side effects. I've been REAL tired from them and occasionally I get headaches but otherwise I'm doing well. I think. My next CT scan to check progress is in early February. I can't remember the date off the top of my head but I put it on this board somewhere. I'm anxious to see if it's working or not. It needs to start kicking this thing in the butt BIG TIME!

I tried acupuncture today for the first time. A friend of mine strongly recommended it and the practitioner offered to do my treatment for free. That was incredibly generous of her so I tried it. After reading my "pulses" she said I have a real strong "life force". Since everyone's perceptions are different I asked her to explain how she meant that. Basically she meant that I have an incredible will to live and my body is strong to fight my battle. She said that she "reads" how all the organs are doing and found some weaknesses in my lungs and kidneys so she treated those areas. She said that my body is tolerating all the chemo very well and I'm still very strong. Although I know my will to live is unshaken it's always nice to hear it from someone that is examining you!!

I don't think I will be getting those booties then! Never really thought about them having trouble walking until you mentioned it but I guess when you think about it, it does make sense. I guess I was having another "BLONDE" moment! LOL!!
I hope all goes well with your meds & you are always in our thoughts & prayers. You are a VERY STRONG person and I'm sure it does feel really good to hear it from someone examining you! I'm not suprised that you got such positive feedback from her,you have an incredible outlook & positive attitude & that is wonderful you will beat this you are much stronger than it is! Take Care & Stay Sweet!!!
