A friend of mine named AL RITTER has written a book called JOURNEY THROUGH LOVING EYES. Click on book cover below to purchase or browse his book.

Journey Through Loving eyes, is a self help book for anyone with parents. Dealing with illness in a way, that leaves the reader with a sense of “inner peace”

Journey Through Loving Eyes is a sounding board for anyone with parents in either terminal care or a nursing home situation.

Author Alfred Ritter brings a valuable insight to parental care, in a loving way. He shows common pitfalls along with simple fixes for complex problems. The reader will no longer feel alone in their feelings of parental care.

Mr. Ritter will lead you through many situations, including:
Researching health care professionals
Picking your immediate care team
Choosing the style of care that is correct for your team
Dealing with the secretive parent
Care giving through love and not guilt
Care giving to radically different parents

Journey Through Loving Eyes promotes the celebration of love, as well as the care of loved parents.

My father has Parkinsons disease he is has the most quickest form of this disease. In the past year he has gotton really bad. He is unable to control his bladder & has a catheder has trouble walking & has to walk with a walker. You really cannot understand what he is saying he speech has dropped drastically in the past couple of years. I'm just thankful he hasn't given up. There is no cure for this disease. He has also had a few strokes with this which as you know doesn't help at all and all this and he is only 60 this all started when he was 52. So he is still very young to be in this condition & trust me this is unbearable sometimes to see him like this. I have faith that God will take care of him in the best way possible. Now that I've written a book. Talk to you when we get back have a great & safe weekend...

>I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad's condition. Maybe all the help and money that Michael J. Fox is giving to research this disease will ultimately help your father. Since you left this message I've been praying for you and your family. That has to be so difficult for you to see your father like that. I can't imagine what that's like. Be strong and just be there for him.

You mentioned "now that I've written a book"... you wrote a book also?? Has it been published?

I sure hope you had better weather at the beach than we've had here.

Al is having problems getting into my web site for some reason. We've been talking about it on Bench Seat Racin.
