With computers, almost anything produced in terms of documents or files is time coded and can be displayed on a computer, tracking modifications and data. However, like anything else, these time codes can be manipulated?

Hypothetically assuming you were in artist who had written a song or poem or short work,Would you be more inclined to NOT get a formal copyright, or do you think you would? Does distance matter? (The copyright office is the Library of Congress, about a 45 minute metro ride from GMU, south capital metro stop). In otherwords, becuase you are in the washington are, would be more inclined to go get a copyright versus if you lived in Nebraska? Using the mail can take about three months to receive a copyright, even with the downloading of forms. Would you wait to receive an offical notice before marketing or advertising your work?
