 People are we really this angry that they are skating around before the anthem's over? or are we just picking on our guys over something petty? I mean sure, i personally stand for the anthem and put my hand over my heart and take the ut-most pride in our countries anthem but thats MY perogative. Its up to me how much pride i take in the country...sure they sing the anthem at every game and it gives everyone the opputunity to show their respect but its not a requirment. So the guys dont stand still, or they even skate away..or stay to watch the pretty girl sing it and not the old Elvis inpersonater. Its alright, i dont think they are being dis-respectful and i dont think they are trying to have you read between the lines that they hate america/americans and that they say screw you and your anthem...i think perhaps they are just not as into it as we are. And thats definatly allowed. Its a FREE country after all. :\ Its all in how you take it i suppose...maybe we can just lighten up a little bit and not take it as a slap in the face..i really dont think any of them meant to offend anyone.
