Subject: Cat names

When I got home about a year ago, 4 cats had taken residence in our back shed. Mama, and her kittens, Omar Bongo Young, Frankenstien Liberace Young, and It. Frankie has the run on the house, when he decides to come in. He is our part-time house cat. Bongo is skittish from when Dad tried to catch him/her to lend to my cousin for her mouse problem, and scratched the hell out of Dad. It disappeared. We still are feeding Bongo and Frankie, Mama was fixed and adopted, and I think I saw It across town a little while ago.
Anyway, how should I acclimate a cat and a puppy we are pondering getting yo each other?
