If a player has one or both feet on or behind the goal-line, he is considered to be in-goal.

To rule that the player has caught the ball in-goal, the player must either:
- be on the ground, in-goal, when he catches the ball
- be in the air, having left the ground from the in-goal

A player with one foot in-goal who jumps in the air and catches the ball in the air is ruled to caught the ball in-goal.
