Having spent weeks searching for a new pair of boots, and not being able to get a pair of basic black boots in my size, it appears there is a marketing opportunity being missed here.

We have a need for black boots by a large number of referees at all levels, and a boot sponsor, and a lack of basic black boots in the marketplace. (Unlike the little black dress, the black boot HAS gone out of style)

So maybe ASICS could fill this void by making a basic black boot, supplying it to the NRL squad (achieving uniformity) and promoting it to the referee associations across Australia.
