As I said, I think it is because of his "vast experience" where their basis for appointing him with a rookie comes from. I see your point, and agree with it, Super League isn't like NRL. It would take a lot to adapt to the different style of game. I'm sure their reasons for appointing Ashley with a rookie are valid. Maybe we will see the pairings mix up more as the year goes on
