Subject: New NRL Referee

With Russel Smith retiring and according to this forum being appointed as Premier League Coach, does anyone know who the new referee going into the NRL will be?

I watched all the games on Grand Final day and unlike in the past there were no 'up and coming' referees appointed to either Premier League or Jersey Flegg. There was however a young referee in the Arrive Alive Cup.

Are there any good young referees coming through the system? Why don't we ever hear about them?
