I have used others such as the american fox40 whistle, which you cant buy anymore, so the old faithful acme is the best. There are certain methods you can use to make the sound better such as boiling the pea and then freezing it, or just using your fingers to work the sound when blowing it. But the ACME thunderer is the one.
