She watched him head to the room before she turned back to the counter, biting her lip and staring down at the dishes absently. Something wasn't right and she knew it but she felt like there was nothing she could do about it. Instead she just let out a slow breath and headed to the fridge to pull out some things to make a sandwich for him. Jessie was already asleep, worn out from her day at the doctors and then the park.
