The General Assembly
Realizing high violence and crime issues

The General Assembly,

Knowing that all countries have dignity and self worth of the human person, there is a problem which questions the worth of the human person, this issue is about high violence and crime in every country but most of all in developing and Latin American countries,

Aware that this problem has less significance to the UN compared to the recent wars and acts of terrorism, but in the end if the UN and limit more of the violence and crime the limiting will do the same with the larger problems of war and terrorism. The little concerns and mishaps that happen everyday can lead to more serious concerns if not corrected.

I. Express deep concern:

(A) The interesting story is that the crime control priorities have become mixed up and corrupted;

(B)In third world and developing countries, they have poor systems of policemen ship and overall control of crimes, its growing harder to manage this problem;

(C) Such problems like the recent demonstration in Buenos Aires. This was one of largest demonstrations since the democracy was restored to government 20 years ago. Concerns like this, the UN needs to take an advantage of and give aid.

II. Is Aware That

(A) Realizes that the UNOC works in cooperation with the UNICRI have been working on analysis of stats on crime trends and operations of criminal justice systems to promote the crime programs,

(B) Knowing the Global program continues to introduce new methods and tools to strengthen analysis of different crimes and violence,

(c) Aware of all this, there are still problems within certain countries and regions that need extra help and support on this issue,

III Recommends

(A) That the UNICRI (United Nations interregional crime and Justice Research institute):

1. Strongly look over how serious this problem is;

2. Forcefully call for all countries to report their concerns with statistics or polls from over the years and looks over similar and largest issues to work on first;

3. Impose goals, mainly to the regions like Latin America and other developing countries, the improving of the police control system;

4. Set up multiple, highly trained and educated task forces to different countries

5. Set up so that each team would go in and teach the county�s police force how to lower their crime rates by training them;

6. The set up force would train on how to form and organize different specialty groups such as the FBI or some SPY organizations. They would also instruct how to be a stronger more in control and less corrupted police force;

7. Communicate the intent of the team to restore the dignity and self worth all countries and to improve the lives and people of the UN.
