Give it up, some people are like talking to a brick wall.

JM wants us to believe that the bible is the end all to everything, that if its in the bible it is true and right. Personally I believe the bible is bull, it is a fictional novel, written by who knows who, and altered over and over again. Sure the book has some good advise for ethics and morals, but it doesn't cut it for me to go and live by it. The bible also contridicts itself.

I was brought up Lutheran, private schools, church twice a week, then I realized that I believe in science. Science is something proven and factual, not just something written in an old book that no one can tell if anything at all really happened or if they were even real people or events.

If Adam and Eve were the first humans on earth, then they must have been cave men, more like apes. I don't believe any seas were parted, I don't believe it rained fourty days and fourty night, there was no Noah with an ark where every animal was put on two by two. Makes for good reading thought. I don't believe in any burning bush, I don't believe anything the bible says or that anyone in it ever truly existed.

I believe that a long time ago maybe a certain person existed, told a huge tale, with poor slow communication at the time stories got stretched and mixed up and all these big tales were said to be true and someone wrote this bible. I believe that once the bible came to be, and the first religions were formed, they were formed for lost souls, poor people, and others who needed something to believe in, something artificial to lift their spirits and church and the bible did that for them. Religion and church went on from there and where it is today.

This is how I see it, and any religious person is not going to change my mind about it, many have tried. I also believe that my views are not going to change my life, they are not going to decide what happens to me after I die. I believe we die and that is that, no heaven, no hell, just death.

That's it on this topic for me.
