I didn't realize I was so close to the edge when I posted! I almost fell off the page and didn't realize it until I looked at the post on the Forum!
I didn't mention religion or theology and didn't mention any of the attending emotional issues for a reason. I realize that my "ideas" are very simplistic and don't include all the emotional, religious, moral, or political tag-a-longs that go with the issues of pain and suffering and who gets charged with what because I thought I was dealing with the premise that some of Geoffs' large "settlements" were overturned by the justices, and how that could be avoided with some tact and planning in the future, and, the client/family would get what they needed and Geoff and his firm would be paid their fee!

Both Geoff and his client(s) would get what they agreed on in advance.....a win, win solution. Then, as far as going after reforms, etc. Geoff & other attorneys could use all their passion and expertise on reform, not fighting and railing against the Judges, and getting them PO'D at Geoff! If Geoff wants a good reason to rail against the Judges, then go for it big guy....and hope nothing else gets overturned! I'm not saying that Geoff should go against his convictions or anything that makes him who he is, and if he feels that a huge $$$ amount is needed, then go for it! I was just trying to offer a simpler way to achieve his goal for his client and himself! Nothing more convoluted or complex than that!
