A good marriage is so dependent upon true communication. And communication is a give and take process. I think I know the answer to what I am going to ask you. But I will ask it anyway. Would your husband go with you to marriage counseling? You have to find a good family therapist if you both decide to go. Many times one spouse has to go alone, because the other spouse refuses to go. But often the spouse who refuses to go sees great changes in the spouse who does go, so the reluctant spouse ends up joining in on the sessions. It is paramount that you do get a very good therapist. Don't be shy about changing a therapist if you don't gel with a current one. Bad marriage therapists can really be disastrous for a marital union. But good family therapists can work wonders!
