I don't know as I didn't talk to them much. But they are probably more interested in their own Bhole Baba guru than in Kriya tradition. They have nothing to do with Kriya.

I am not sure whether this Bhole Babaji was that much interested in identity questions. When he was asked about being the same Babaji mentioned in AY he used to answer in the affirmative. However it is true that he liked to deliberately contradict himself. For instance he was once involved in a lawsuit (ashram property?), seemingly didn't take it at all seriously and confused people there with various senseless statements about himself.

I remember he said to a devotee that everything that was written in the AY about Babaji is true except the story about his sister.

In another incident he appeared in a devotee's dream or vision and led her or him into a cave where several great saints were sitting. One of them was a very old man or soul, and Babaji explained that this is Paramahansa Yogananda.
