((Bear with me, Elvis is mad. PC froze...lost EVERYTHING.))
He stops running only to watch in amazement as the walls around him literally melt. He sences it being a spell of some sort, but doesn't know where it came from. His automatic reaction was to grip his Holy Saber with both of his hands, charge up slightly, and assume a defensive stance, ever vigilant of his surroundings, not knowing what to expect.
He then notices that the animal friends are literally gone, as if they were taken out of this reality all together. Jin can only hope that they are safe, but with the walls melting around him, he thought the worst. The walls finish their ackward melting phase, and all he saw infront of him was Lashana, just a few rooms ahead. If she's the one who cast that spell, then the animals are safe. Jin was able to relax. He felt the vortex he made open, and knew that Zion had arrived. All was finally going well.
That's when he got a sharp pain in his heart, always a stern indication that something was totally wrong. This feeling started comming to him after merging with the Holy Sword, always acting as a precognition signal. This pain was stronger than the usual, though, as if something terrible was happening; but that's when he knew, he knew exactly what was wrong, or at least could be wrong.
The Holy Saber extinguishes, his right hand slowly moving towards the location of his heart, gripping the cloths that cover his flesh tightly, the pain being strong. He closes his eyes, and his vision leaves him for that momment, traveling to the Spiritual Realm, only to then enter the body of a spirit that was watching the events that were partaking at Ruby Lakes, the location of Neo Hogoromo. Jin saw everything.
With a sudden burst of emotion, his vision travels back to him, his eyes burts open, moist with tear water.
"Again...Hogoromo suffers again because of me...and again I wasn't there to stop it..."
The only plan Jin could think of was to use Zenra to relay Zion the message. His eyes burst with a golden light emmiting from them, radiating in sync with the golden feather.
"Zenra! Neo Hogoromo is on fire! The elves are in grave danger! Send the message to the near Zion to take some Spirit Soldiers and go to Hogoromo on the double! Tell him not to worry; they will follow his command!"
Jin is not aware of the events that are taking place with Zion at the momment, but he knows that Zion will stop whatever he's doing and help, expecially if he's gone this far already.
He then runs to Lashana, stopping right infront of her.
"Lashana! I'm am Jin, Holy Knight of Hogoromo. My intent was to save you, but it seems that you are perfectly capable of saving yourself."
This is the second time that Jin has ever made contact with Lashana, the first being when they traveled back in time to stop Morigu. They seem to only meet in horrible circumstances, but this is the first time that he is able to get a good look at her.
"Damn...she's pretty."
He shakes off the thought, this not being the time nor the place to be thinking like that, though it is the very first time Jin has ever thought like that of anybody in general.
"Lashana, we need to get out of here. Your elf friends are in trouble back in Hogoromo! We need to go save them!"
He turns around and all thought froze, along with all sence of movements, and a pale look of fear and surprise smaking Jin's face. He stood there, in awe, not beleiving what stood before him.
"It...can't...it can't be..."
"Hello, wretched son of mine."
Jin was in shock of what stood before him, it was his father, Mitsukai Kayoroqua. Jin took a couple of steps forward in disbeleif.
"Your here...how? Did you join my Spirit Soldiers?"
"Ha! You wish. I came to stop you. You invaded my home, just like Lord Onimaru had hoped."
Jin's eyes widen in more disbeleif. He could not beleive that the man he admired his whole life, the man he wanted to avenge, what made him become a Knight to begin with, stood before him condemming his own name with a simple sentence.
"I don't understant!"
"Of course you don't understand. The Holy Sword ruined you, like I thought it would do."
"It didn't ruin me!"
"The hell it didn't. It's the main reason why I'm trapped here, and the reason why the original Hogoromo was destroyed to begin with, the Holy Sword is the creater of Akujin, you know."
He is left speechless by his father's words, he could only inquire.
"H-How...?"
"I guess before I destroy you and Lashana, I will allow you to at least die a death lacking the ignorance you currently posses."
"..."
Mitsukai begins walking slowly around Jin and Lashana as he tells his story.
"That day I left home, I came here, to the Demon Realm and fought Onimaru head on. Of course, I was loosing. I entrusted the Holy Sword to defend me, which was my mistake to begin with. The battle raged on for a few more momments, which is when I tapped into the Kayoroqua Family secret...the power of demons themselves. I tapped into my own darkness, and through the Holy Sword off the battle. I was then equal with Onimaru. That's when he notced my true self, my true power. He then asked me if I wanted to master the energy that I denied for so long, and of course, I said yes. Why wouldn't I? I had the power there the whole time, I denied it. That when that damned Holy Sword betrayed me. It left out of the demon realm, and sealed me in there, with Onimaru. I then vowed to get vengence on the Holy Sword. I swear to destroy it."
Jin can only stare, not beleiving what he is hearing, he still had no words that could describe what he's hearing.
"That's why...that's why Akujin was born. The Holy Sword tried to prevent the events that ook place here. It MADE Akujin himself, thinking that good will always triumph over evil, wanting you to vanquish Akujin. What a mistake, Akujin could kill you with mere thoughts if he wanted to. It's the Holy Sword's fault why Hogoromo was destroyed!"
"I...don't beleive you..."
"Don't beleive me then! The proof is in you! You tapped into the darkness when you opened up the vortex to enter here! Who knows what Zack has been doing, and if you remember, Songi tried to kill you. The darkness is within the Kayoroqua family, you whom I thought to have been the prodigy child turned out to be the late bloomer."
"Why...why did you think that I was the 'prodigy' child?"
"Because you got a perfect mix of my species and your mother's."
"What are you talking about?"
"Your that ignorant! Then let me explain, your mother was an elf, I was a psionic. How did you think you were able to do your stupid little molecular distortion move? A psionic monk taught you that, right?"
Jin is once again left in silence, finally discovering exactly what he is, but what a horrible way to find out.
"I laugh at the Holy Sword, though. When you reunited with your dark energy, well, Akujin, it merged with you and tricked you into thinking that it was to make sure you'd live with the merging. Of course you would live! The Holy Sword's intent was to cage up your dark power! But that totally backfired, didn't it? And you know why!"
"..."
"The Holy Sword itself fell into the darkness, isn't that ironic. So now we have the Holy Sword, and the Hell Blade. Do you feel you've mad a positive change in the world yet, son?"
"...shut up."
"Let me guess..."
"...that's enough!" Jin's right hand flares in white and the Holy Sword forms in it, it extends to the lenght of a Dai-Katana, Jin's eyes begins flarring white with energy, tendrils of Holy encircle his body.
"I'd figure as much. But it's not time yet. We will duel at a later date, for now, I have to make a couple of visits." He turns his back on his son, and vanishes into thin air as he walks.
"NO!!! WAIT!" His breathing is somewhat heavy with all the information he just receieved, but as a Holy Knight that he is, he tries to maintain his posture and he turns to Lashana, who witnessed all of this. His voice sounds depressed and worn out, he speaks softly to her.
"We have to go..."
