Crimson eyes narrowed slightly. He had good ears, and the ruse had worked. He kept walking even as he heard every word the Dragon say.

So that's what this is about. A war would be a good oppertunity to devour the life forces of those with gifts. Soul would float free long enough before fading to the realm of the dead to be eaten. I could use this to my advantage. But can I?

He exhaled, a tuft of ice bitten air escaping his maw.

This Enzeru definately sounds...interesting. Someone with such power as she claims is surely worth looking into.

He waited, ruby gleaming eyes fixing on the portal that was so brief to appear. Snow and ice filled the other side. A rip formed infront of him and he stepped through.

I must follow her.

Claws feet touched snow and ice, and the color of his body changed. It would do him no good for the elven girl to see him, or the Dragon for that matter. It would be best to disappear. Like a chameleon into the leaves, he disappeared seamlessly into the expances of white, and followed after the bard, the urge to bond faded for the time being.

Let's see what this has in store for me.
