You know, I thought I'd be bored after the boys left for college but so far time is still flying. Just keeping up with Mom's dilemas is enough, but hopefully we have that under control. The cistern problem is now complete we think. I didn't get stoned for anything I did while she was gone or any of her money I spent so I guess we are ok. Now I just need to keep the leaves out of her spouting..Tuesday night I was called down to clean them out(in the rain) because the water couldn't get down the spouting to her cistern. MaryLee, glad to hear the chair is handled..just let us know what we owe. Joe is once again on his normal crusade to reduce Christmas spending and the kids are confident that I will prevail and everyone will be spoiled once again. I'm not sure spending will go done but probably the number of packages will decrease.
Last weekend Joe and I went to the Ohio State game. As unbelievable as it was we ran into Alan and Natalie in the over 100,000 people that were there. It was a fun time. We met Jessica, Kristy and Jeff at HineyGate after the game. Took Kristy and Jessica out to eat...Jeff was more into the partying so he stayed at HineyGate. We went back after eating and partyed it it close which was around 6:30. The kids went on to more parties and Joe and I headed for Coldwater.
This week is the big game for the Coldwater Cavaliers for winning our league which we haven't done for about 15 years. Jessica is coming home for a wedding. Kristy is off to Cincy for a Halloween party with Jeff. The boys are planning on going to Ft Wayne to see a classmate from High School who was in a car accident last Sunday. She is doing 100% better than they had predicted for her. They thought she would be paralyzed from her waist down due to a spinal cord injury..but when they operated the spinal injury wasn't what they thought. She does have a broken back but as of yesterday she was wiggling her toes. So some of the kids from Toledo are going down to see her.
Other than that Joe and I are staying busy at work so far. Amy is busy at school and working out. Joe and I took her out to dinner last night for her birthday. Hard to believe I have a kid 26. It was enjoyable to actually sit down and talk...most evenings she is just a ship passing in the night.
Well hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and stay warm...I think winter is on it's way.
