Her long, warm bath had her completely relaxed so that by the time the water cooled she only had the energy to drag herself out of the tub, towel off, and then crawl beneath the plentiful blankets on their king-sized bed, worn out from the stress and panic of the eventful day. She braided her long, dark hair low and loosely over one shoulder before burrowing down into the pillows and dozing off for a while. She was just waking up when he let himself in, and she actually tensed for a moment as she strained her ears to listen to the movements in the rest of the apartment. It was easy for her to determine it was him though - so familiar with his sounds she was - and so she relaxed immediately, a warm and fuzzy smile softening her features as she nestled back down into a fluffy pillow to wait for him to discover her. She knew as soon as he was ready, he would come looking for her... --

He came into the bedroom and smiled gently at her, he could see her bare shoulder peeking out from under the big blanket on their huge bed. "Hey amoria..." He murmured gently, his voice soft. "I am just cooking up some food...do you want anything?" He shifted to sit on the edge of the bed, watching her for a moment before his fingertips trailed down to run across her shoulder, enjoying the soft feel of skin there. Her skin was always so damned soft, it amazed him how she did it because he never saw her throwing on lotion or anything...maybe she just did it when he wasn't there.
