The arguement God says, I believe it, and that settles it, may be the strongest arguement to the believer. Some would say it is the only arguement. But this arguement is only acceptable to those who accept the authority of scripture. Most people dont. So my question was how are you going to make this sound sensible to those outside the church. My concern is this, I dont go to church because there is no churches for me to go to here. So I am concerned about what people outside the church think. I am interested in making the gospel sound sensible. I want to make it sound real to those who dont go. I hope you do to.
In England women in church seem to outnumber men by about 4 to 1 A lot of people think that the men of the church are women.
The Anglican has a real practicle problem. There are not enough men for all the leadership positions. OK shame on the men.
But I dont think that we can do without the women. We are in a dependency position. We have ordained women in the Church of England. Many of these believe they were led by God to become ordained, and that God has truly blessed their ministry, are you prepared to call them at the best deluded at the worst liars?
