If the Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith than why would people not prefer the gospel. No one can have faith by themselves. Jesus said that we did not go to him, but that he came to us. Without the power of the Holy Spirit, no one can have faith in Christ.

It seems as if we have no

If we depended on our own responsibility, we could not be saved.

The Local Church claims to have been called to add to the gospel instead of preaching the gospel. Brother Lee added to the gospel, just as Samuel Lee did. The true gospel is never sufficient for cult leaders. Thus, they had something extra for the purpose of promoting their agenda.

There seems to be a pattern among those who add works requirements to the gospel of using the works requirement to control members. When members are told that they must earn their salvation, they need someone to tell them the work they must perform.
