As for Awareness sites:
You sure won't find any hosted in the United States, since hosting anything negative about the LC will get you a $136mio lawsuit or something of that style.
Media critics are usually shot down by a threat of lawsuit, and the most informative "other side" resources about the LC
were bought (cash for the physical property) wholesale by the LC when their owner died (Jim Moran, read about it by googling: a whole host of cults were praying for his death and all of them proclaimed that God killed him b/c he was attacking "God's people" (i.e. them).
Anyway, that's drifting offtopic again.
Usually theBereans are a good and informative site, but their forum is currently down.
Searching for "Witness Lee" aka "brother Lee" will turn up a lot of propaganda, but little true history: only a handful of insiders know what truly happened and they won't talk about it with anyone ("it will damage the Body" - yeah).
I can tell from my own experience that knowing all those things is only making me weary, and so I share with most "ex"s a history of strenuous fruitless arguments which only make me frustrated. Seems like I also am one of the big crowd that ONLY wants to forget and move on now - but that's how and why they prosper.
