Umm... I read Solar's post and replied to it first, then went thru the others and noticed something. Bedwyr, that last paragraph wasn't actually directed at you, even tho it actually really seems like it. Cars failing to start is a common winter problem here (or it used to be, anyway) and the last few winters in a row have been really mild. Some people (including members of my own family) are glad to not have the snow and the cold, and all childhood memories and my desire to go snowboarding aside, the fact is that that seems like a narrow-minded view to me. If in your area the last winter was alright and there aren't any problems with drought in the summers, then it's all good.
