Michelle, I have no clue who James is either but who cares, not me. But what offened me was when you wrote about mistakes are made everyday, and you felt he(James) was implying the mistakes are done on purpose. Please tell me you weren't talking about what I said about Ryan being treated unfairly. I had the bullriding director come up to me and flat out tell me and Ryan that Ryan had been treated unfairly not only at the the finals but throughout the year. I also had a director of another event come up and tell me that he was told by someone, to watch out how they treat Ryan because he had seen him being treated wrong not just at the finals but other regular season rodeos as well. I don't feel it would be right for me to put names on this board of people who came up to me and agreed how he was treated. By the bullriding director admitting this after the season is finally over I don't feel this is how you go about correcting a problem. The bullriding director may not feel it would be a good thing for him to admit what he said but I can direct you to a person or 2 who heard the whole conversation. Last years rodeo is said and done with, but it just aggrivates me when so many people saw what happened but don't want to admit it. It got so bad on how Ryan was being treated, I could tell Ryan after the bullriding event on Saturday what bull he was going to have on Sunday. I know there were so many people who know this and if they don't want to admit to it, so be it. Now put yourself in my shoes. What if a director came up to you and your child, and told you your child really should have won (1st in her event for the season) but I am sorry how unfairly she was treated but that is life, and take this as a lesson learned in life, life is not always fair. And then what if other directors came up to you and said Gosh Michelle, they sure did s--- on your daughter I am not believing they have done , I am not believing they are allowing this to happen ! Oh yeah and it made the difference of 1st and 2nd at the finals? I know you well enough and you probably would have done more than I did which I wouldn't blame you either. No one will EVER convince me it was not done on purpose. And if people that really do know the situation may not admit it to you, but they know the truth too. To me by listening to the bullriding directors words, how more plainly could it have not been done on purpose? Futhermore I admit that mistakes can be made too, but when a person such as the director of the event admits that he knows Ryan was treated unfairly at different times throughout the year that is not a mistake. Here is another good one about rules. At one of the rodeos when it felt like 100 degrees, Ryan had just ridden(he wears a helmet) and he had his helmet on for awhile due to the fact some of the bulls were not cooperating in the chutes. Inside of his helmet gets very hot as you can imagine it is plastic. Right after he rode he took his helmet off put his head between his legs to get some air, soaked from sweat, feeling kinda sick. It wasn't 5 seconds later here comes the president, "Hey, you need to get your hat on". Now come on, I know rules need to be inforced, but that was unheard of, why not ask the kid if he is ok. I would like for that president to put that helmet on for 20 minutes or more like Ryan had to and just see how it feels. I am so sorry I make Ryan wear a helmet for safety reasons. In closing, all this is brought about by someone asking a simple question about rules and fairness. And All I am doing is letting you know what I was told by more than one director . All I can say is this, beings many people in the association including members and directors saw what was going on throughout the year, dicsussed it among themselves, and didn't even try to correct the problem surely don't mind seeing children being treated unfairly.
