She knew in her heart of hearts that there was one male out there that would win her over.. that wasn't something she doubted. And because it was also well known that males widely outnumbered females in the dragonkind.. well, she knew she could stand to be picky. So long as Kaden provided enough males for her choose from.) It should be a piece of cake for the savior of the black dragons.. (She said the title with a teasing pomp to it, pursing her lips and looking up at him through half hooded eyes. It was plain to see when looking on her then that in a few years time, when her adulthood took her, she would be a heartbreaker.. her beauty known far and wide. She cocked her head a little as he started to scoff the idea of the truemate's bond, regarding him thoughtfully. She had never said she desired a truemate's bond.. not once.. she had merely said that if she could not have that sort of life altering need for a certain male, that she would find the next closest thing. It was possibly for that reason alone that she merely stuck her tongue out at him instead of hissing as she might have.) Twould be better for ye, ye mean.. Besides, my mind would nae be muddled. I am nae some slight and fragile female like these harem lasses, Kaden. (Not like she needed to point that out to him.. she was just as likely to be wrestling with him as she was to be fawning over a beautiful dress. She fell quiet as he started to discuss their leaving, adn was already thinking about all the things she wanted to take along with her.) Will we fly? I din think I will take everything I have straight off.. mayhap just some books and things, and my wee seed. Ye should see it, Kaden.. I will plant it in our new home. (She settled back down against him, her head on his shoulder and her index finger tracing circles over his pec. She yawned deeply and nuzzled into the soft space where his chest met his armpit.) I dinnae want to go home.. Can we sleep out here? (She knew he would most likely insist she go home, where she was safe, and where wagging tongues would not speculate about their relationship. BUt still.. it was nice to hope, right?)
